Why Courta exists

Courta didn’t start as a business. It started with me organising courts for friends.

From there, more and more people were asking how they could get one for their own backyard. The accessible, local options were either too expensive, of poor quality, or required a full installation crew. We couldn’t find a family-friendly, easy-to-install DIY option.

So we created Courta. A simple, high-quality court system that mums and dads can install themselves in a day. 

Now, the court is used for everything! Basketball, netball, bikes, games with friends, and even the occasional backyard dance performance (parents know these!).

It’s not just a court. It’s a space your kids will use every day.

I’ve spent more than 20 years working with materials and construction, so I know what holds up and what doesn’t. Courta is built to perform, built to last, and designed for real Australian backyards.

Our manufacturing partner supplies courts globally, including FIBA-certified systems. So while Courta is new, the product behind it is proven.
